School Information

Visitors:

  • All visitors should report to the office.
 

Parking:

  • Students may park on campus. MCSA Maui Campus will not be held responsible for acts of vandalism or theft.
  • Please park in marked stalls only.
  • Parking under the large tree (adjacent to the rubbish bin) is highly discouraged.
 

Telephone:

  • The telephone in the office may be used. Please see the Office Staff for permission.
 

Admission:

  • Students must be 18 years or older.
  • For ABE/HSE programs, students who are 16-17 years old must be officially released with a DOE Form 4140 from regular K-12 school.
  • Enrollment is non-discriminatory with regard to race, creed, sex, or ability.
 

Registration:

  • New Students need to register in-person. Online payment is available.
  • Returning Students can register and make payment online.
 

Attire:

  • Students should be appropriately dressed.
  • Short-shorts, see-through attire, gang/drug/offensive language attire - will result in a request for the student to change or a release to change and return to class.
 

Children/Pets:

  • Children/pets are not permitted to accompany adults to classes.
 

Tobacco/Drug/Alcohol-Free School System:

  • Smoking, use of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is prohibited on school campuses and satellites at all times.
  • The Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989 require that the Department of Education maintain a drug-free and alcohol-free school environment.
 

Incident/Emergency:

  • Incidents should be reported immediately to the instructor or office staff.
 

Fire Drills:

  • Evacuate the building quickly according to the posted instructions in the classroom.
 

Privacy Rights:

  • Know your privacy rights as they apply to 1) student record information; 2) directory information; 3) surveys and other information collection; and 4) military recruitment information. For more information on your privacy rights, the laws that protect them, and how to exercise your rights, contact your school administrator.
